2021 Ford Escape Power & Handling
Two gasoline engines are offered with the 2021 Escape. The base engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder, which can produce 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The other available gasoline engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, which outputs 280 pound-feet of torque and 250 horsepower. Front- and all-wheel drive are both available. Though it should be noted there is no exclusive off-roading trim for this SUV.
