There are a total of seven Grand Cherokee trim levels offered for the 2020 model year. The entry-level, the Sport, is outfitted with a host of standard features including a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, keyless entry and ignition, rear parking sensors, smartphone integration, automatic dual-zone climate control, and 18-inch wheels. The higher trim levels add leather upholstery, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, heated front seats, xenon headlights, a power liftgate, power-adjustable front seats, and a premium 19-speaker sound system. The Trailhawk comes with features geared towards off-roading and the SRT and Trackhawk trims are equipped for more performance-geared driving.

The Grand Cherokee’s engine lineup does not lack power, that is for sure! The standard engine is a Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 that produces 260 lb-ft of torque and 295 hp. Drivers can power their Summit, Overland, and Trailhawk trims with the available 5.7-liter V8 that generates 390 lb-ft of torque and 360 hp. The last two trims are exclusive to certain trim levels. The SRT is home to a 6.4-liter V8 that creates 475 lb-ft of torque and 470 hp. Within the Trackhawk lies the most powerful Grand Cherokee engine, a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that kicks out 546 lb-ft of torque and 707 hp. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4WD, except for the V6 which comes with standard RWD while 4WD is offered. 

As a top priority for the Jeep brand, advanced safety features and driver assistance technologies are found throughout the entire Grand Cherokee lineup. Standard features for the lineup include rear cross-traffic alert that warns the driver of a vehicle behind them when moving in reverse and blind-spot monitoring that alerts the drivers to vehicles that are located in their blindspot they may not be able to see at all. Other features include forward collision mitigation, parallel and perpendicular parking assist, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
