Could you talk about the Ram 1500’s features?
Drivers have a total of five Ram 1500 trim levels to choose from, each building on the previous for even more features. The base Tradesman model is outfitted with standard features like a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, 18-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, a 6-speaker audio system, trailer sway damping, and a 5-inch touchscreen with Ram’s Uconnect infotainment system. Other features found throughout the lineup include fog lights, LED exterior lighting, an electronic locking rear axle, two larger touchscreen options, heated/ventilated front seats, navigation, leather upholstery, power mirrors, side steps, a power rear window, a wireless charging pad, and so much more!
What about the truck’s engine options?
The Ram 1500 lineup is powered by one of four engines. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. It is outfitted with eTorque mild-hybrid technology for enhanced fuel efficiency. The next engine is a 5.7-liter V8 that creates 295 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque and can be had with or without the eTorque technology. The third engine, a diesel-powered turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, creates 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. The final engine is only found under the hood of the TRX trim level. This supercharged 6.2-liter V8 cranks out 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. All four engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and both RWD and 4WD are available.
Can you go over the safety features?
No matter where the adventure leads, the Ram 1500 will have its passengers backs with a host of advanced safety features and driver aids. The available Advanced Safety Group package outfits the Ram 1500 with driver aids like lane-keeping assist the steers the truck back into its intended lane if it drifts over the lane marker without signaling, a surround-view camera system that helps the driver park with a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the Ram 1500 and the surrounding area, and adaptive cruise control that lets the driver set a certain distance from the vehicle ahead and maintain it by adjusting the cruise control settings.
