The Jeep Compass, like all Jeep vehicles, has a lot of athleticism inherent in its design. Across the board, all five trim levels of the 2022 Compass feature the 2.4-liter Turboshark 4-cylinder engine, which is rated at 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain on the Sport and Latitude trims, and those models with rear-wheel drive will utilize a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited come with 4-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission, and 4-wheel drive is an available option on all models. When properly equipped, the Trailhawk can tow up to 2,000 pounds, and the Trailhawk includes some additional standard equipment that further enhances its capability. This includes red-painted front tow hooks, a 1-inch factory lift, hill-descent control, and a 30-degree approach angle. Selec-Terrain Traction Management comes with the Latitude Lux, Trailhawk, and Limited trims, which provides the Compass with multiple different drive modes, suitable for a wide range of conditions.

The Jeep Compass has a wealth of new features for 2022, which work together to create a luxurious and stylish experience on all trim levels. As we mentioned above, one of the new elements featured on all new 2022 Jeep Compass models is an all-new infotainment system. The Compass is welcoming a newly redesigned instrument panel, which features the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. The system will have a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen on the Sport and Latitude trims, with all other trim levels featuring a larger 10.1-inch screen. Starting with the Latitude LUX, the Compass’s dashboard will also feature a thin-film transistor (TFT) behind the steering wheel, which measures up to 10.25 inches on upper trim levels. This screen will bring information like your current gear and speed to the forefront with a crystal-clear full-color display. 2022 is also bringing in some updates for the Compass’s standard safety suite, which now includes features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and active lane management as standard. There are other advanced features available as well, such as a 360-degree surround-view camera, and more!
