What to Do to Get Ready:

Book a Winter Tune-Up: The first and perhaps most important step to get ready for a holiday road trip is to book a winter tune-up at the Cerritos service center. Check on Your Tires: Another important task to take care of before you head out is to check on your tires. Get down at eye-level with your tire and take a good look at the tread. You can perform the penny test to see how much life your tires have left and if they are in good condition to provide the traction you need when driving, especially in circumstances you are not used to. It is also important that you check the air pressure of each tire, as temperature changes can inflate and deflate them.

Dress Comfortably and Pack Accordingly: Whether you are driving just a few hours or you have a full day's worth of driving ahead of you, it is important that you and your passengers, especially children are dressed comfortably to avoid complaints and even reduce the amount of “are we there yet?” questions you are bound to receive.
