Among the many pickup trucks on the market today, one option stands out from the rest. This is the 2022 Jeep Gladiator, which offers tons of unique features that make it truly enjoyable to drive. The Gladiator is the only truck offered by the Jeep heritage brand, and it includes Jeep’s signature removable roof and doors, and fold-down windshield. The Jeep Gladiator brings you all the power and utility you need for your toughest jobs, as well as the open-air freedom and all-terrain ability you need to explore the off-road trails! The Gladiator features four core trim levels, as well as an array of sub-trims for even more variety. This lineup offers two different engine options, and standard 4-wheel drive across the board! Continued down below, we’ll be discussing what the Sport, Overland, Mojave, and Summit trims have to offer. Read on to learn more about the trim levels of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator!
Sport
The Sport trim is up first, and it features all the standard features of the Jeep Gladiator lineup. The Sport comes with the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the 3.0-liter diesel V6 is an available option for an extra boost in torque. The Sport offers standard 4-wheel drive, Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, and crank windows for that classic Jeep feel. The Sport also features a removable roof, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield. Inside, you’ll find a 7-inch Uconnect 4 infotainment touchscreen, an 8-speaker sound system, and two rows of seats with cloth upholstery.

Overland
Moving up to the Overland trim, you’ll find a more elevated version of the Gladiator, with added comfort and convenience features to enhance your driving experience. The Overland features a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power windows and door locks, and 18-inch wheels. It also includes automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Overland’s interior features a premium 9-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You can also opt for available features like leather-trimmed seats, and a Selec-Trac full-time transfer case.

Rubicon
The Rubicon trim is the first of two off-road models in the 2022 Jeep Gladiator lineup. This model features all sorts of equipment that allows you to tackle the rocky terrain of an off-road trail. The Rubicon comes with the Rock-Trac 4:1 Low transfer case which offers low-range gearing, and up to an 84:1 crawl ratio for increased traction on the uneven surface of a trail. It also comes with 2.0-inch FOX shock absorbers, off-road rock rails, and 33-inch all-terrain tires. Its class-exclusive disconnecting front sway bar allows for greater articulation in the front wheels, which comes in handy while trying to navigate tight spaces in between rocks.

Mojave
The Mojave trim is the final model in the 2022 Jeep Gladiator range! Similar to the Rubicon, the Mojave is an off-road version of the Gladiator, but where the Rubicon specialized in rocky terrain, the Mojave is built for the sands. This trim level comes with all-terrain tires, a 1-inch front lift, and high-clearance fender flares for sailing across the surface of the sands. To help you stay in control even as the sands shift beneath you, the Mojave comes with a reinforced frame, FOX 1.5-inch internal bypass shocks, and a hydraulic jounce bumper that reduces vibrations and road noise. Inside, the Mojave features a Mojave badge embroidered into the seats, as well as orange trim on the dashboard.
