The standard cabin for the Ram 1500 provides functional legroom for the rear row. Perfect for worksites, the Quad Cab has the higher payload of the two cab types. However, it only comes with the larger 6-foot-4-inch bed. Enjoy a more expansive bed at the cost of some interior volume.
Every trim of the Ram 1500 can access the Crew Cab. This is the larger of the two options, which means it has slightly less payload capacity due to the heavier chassis. The benefit is that the Ram 1500 Crew Cab allows you to choose between the 6-foot-4-inch bed or the 5-foot-7-inch bed.

The Quad Cab doesn’t offer much interior space in the second row, but it does seat an extra row of passengers if you need to bring coworkers around the site.

Take particular note of the Ram 1500 bed volume differences. The 6-foot-4-inch bed has an additional 8.5 cubic feet of space compared to the 5-foot-7-inch one.
